The wedding cake experience
Planning a wedding comes with a lot of decisions. Your cake shouldn't feel like one of the difficult ones. From the first conversation through the wedding day, you'll know what to expect.
What To Expect
inquiry
Share your wedding date, venue, guest count, and anything you'd like me to know about your celebration. I'll review your inquiry, confirm availability, and make sure we're a good fit before scheduling a brief phone consultation.
Consultation
Our consultation is where we talk through your wedding, your priorities, and the atmosphere you're creating. You don't need every detail finalized yet. It’s simply the starting point.
Booking
Once you're ready to move forward, a $200 reserve-the-date retainer officially secures your wedding date. After booking, you'll receive a design questionnaire that helps me get to know your celebration before we begin designing.
Design
As your wedding plans continue to come together, so does your cake. I'll develop your design using the details you’ve shared, considering form, proportion, color, texture, and decoration.
If you've included a tasting, we'll finalize flavors during this stage.
Proposal
You'll receive a detailed proposal that brings the design, servings, flavors, delivery, and investment together in one place. You'll have time to review everything and ask questions before approving your proposal.
Final Details
About six weeks before your wedding, we’ll confirm your design, flavors, and any remaining details. Final payment is due four weeks before your wedding.
Wedding day
Your cake is created with the same care and precision used throughout the process. Delivery and setup are coordinated with your planner or venue team so everything is presented as intended.
A note on approach
I accept a limited number of wedding commissions each season so I can stay personally involved from beginning to end.
LET’S BEGIN YOUR DESIGN
The first step is confirming your date. From there, we’ll schedule a brief conversation.
