inquiry
The process begins with an inquiry through my website. This allows me to gather key details, date, location, guest count, and overall direction, then confirm availability and fit.
Once reviewed, I’ll follow up to schedule a brief phone consultation.
Consultation
Our phone consultation is a chance to connect and make sure the experience is the right match. We’ll discuss your wedding aesthetic, priorities, and what you’re looking for in a cake experience.
This conversation helps me understand scope and guide you through the next steps with clarity.
Booking
To reserve your wedding date, a $200 reserve-the-date retainer is required. This secures your place on my calendar and opens your project for design.
After booking, you’ll receive a design questionnaire to explore visual direction, textures, finishes, and overall feel in more detail.
Design development
After reviewing your questionnaire, I begin shaping the creative direction for your cake. This is where form, surface, and detail come together to establish a cohesive design.
If you include a tasting, flavor selections are explored alongside design development so decisions feel unified and focused.
Proposal
You’ll receive a detailed proposal outlining the cake design, structure, flavors, and total investment. It reflects the creative direction we’ve established.
Once approved, the remaining booking details are finalized and your project moves into production planning.
Finalization
Final design and flavor details are confirmed well in advance of your wedding date. This keeps everything settled and clear heading into the final weeks of planning.
Wedding day and delivery
Your cake is created with the same level of care and precision used throughout the process. Delivery and setup are coordinated with your planner or venue team so the cake is presented exactly as intended.
By the time your wedding day arrives, the details are already confirmed. You’re free to enjoy the moment, knowing your cake has been carefully prepared and placed.
